We were so happy to find this patisserie in Los Angeles. No where else did we find such nice pastries. I like to have croissants in the morning with my cafe and these were divine. We will be back next trip. Merci

I admit I am a dessert / pastry snob i.e. unless it’s fresh and made with quality ingredients it’s not worth eating. I tried 2 of the pastries at Almandine (before my omelet) and I was in heaven. Ok, I admit, I didn't just try them, I ate most of them. Thank goodness I don’t live close by because I would constantly be tempted to pick up something (or a couple of things….or maybe 3…..). And yes, we did have breakfast here as well. My husband and I both had omelets. The food came out quickly, the portions were large, the omelet fillings were fresh, and the sides (fruit and toast) were good.

Great breakfast place in koreatown

If you like a fresh and good breakfast this is the place. Besides many savoury dishes with e.g. eggs there is a wide selection of freshly home baked pastries and cakes. Fast and friendly. I likes it so much that I came here twice for breakfast during nu 3 day stay in LA but also one time for dinner which was great as well

Just WOW

I am a true fan of decadent French pastries. The eclair here was simply the most decadent ever. Crispy dark chocolate covered the top. The custard filling had a tint of yellow, but tasted like whipped cream. Coffee was served in a mug large enough for two hands. Lots of seating outside, inside, and on the back patio. Parking was easy around the corner. Photos here are true to what I experienced

I've never had such amazing pastries!!!! We spent a long weekend in the Beverly Hills/LA area and vowed to eat someplace different all weekend...but we ended up here twice. It was conveniently located on our way from Bev.Hills to the beaches and the airport. We didn't have any of the hot food but it all looked amazing. We had a variety pastires on each visit and they were each unlike anything we'd had before. I wouldn't necessarily choose a chocolate/orange pastry or an almond croissant, but would order them there every time from now on! Definitely makes me want to search for something equally as yummy in the Seattle area. The Chai tea was decent as well.

I fly from SF to LA often just to have brunch here. I normally dont eat quiche but this place has exceptional quiche meal. It usually comes with salad for about $8. A choice of vegetarian or with meat. It is soooo delicious and perfectly filling and satisfying. Enough room after for their equally delicious cakes, pastries, pies. Everything here is yummy!

My wife and I live in Chicago and are pastry obsessed. Like, we have a standing Saturday morning pastry date. So, on a recent trip to LA, I had to look for the best pastries in the city. My search led me to this place, and I'm SO glad we found it. We went right at 11:30 on a weekday and got right in, but the place started to get very busy after we were seated. The menu is expansive--there are tons of pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, and breakfast options. They must have had 8 different omlettes. We had several delish pastries, the best quiche I've ever had, the meatball soup, and the croque madame sandwich. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant couldn't have been more quaint and girly and... French!

We came to this bakery after visiting Getty Museum. The food and coffee were great. In particular, the quiche du jour turkey onion and the strawberries gateau were really good. The coffee was served with nice foam art on top. It is a must visit if you are near UCLA or Getty.

Amandine is a European country style bakery serving Breakfast and Lunch. Could also do for a light evening meal. This restaurant is frequented by locals. it is always busy. Rightly so as it was voted one of the top ten Bakeries in LA by patrons. The pasteries are excellent and very reasonably priced. The food is well prepared. God knows how many pounds of butter go into the recipes. Available to make you ever fatter are many varieties of omelets for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. The varieties of Quiche are also an excellent choice. Parking is available in the alley behind the restaurant. You will also find additional outdoor seating.
